Mitt Romney mocked President Obama's speech in Disney World on Thursday, saying the president is in "fantasyland."
"I see that the president today is in Florida speaking," Romney said while on the campaign trail in South Carolina.
"He's in Disney World. He's giving a speech today. Guess where he's going to be giving the speech — fantasyland. He's giving a speech at fantasyland," he noted. "He's going to be in fantasyland, and it's obviously appropriate because he's been living in a sort of fantasyland these last few years."
Obama delivered a speech Thursday afternoon, with Disney World as the backdrop, to promote increased tourism across the United States.
He touted speedier visa processing to boost travel from abroad into the Sunshine State, a battleground for the presidential election.
"I'm here to tell the world America is open for business," Obama said in Disney's Magic Kingdom. "I want America to be the top tourist destination in the world."
Romney, who stood onstage with campaign supporters Gov. Nikki Haley (R-S.C.) and former GOP presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty, slammed Obama's record on job creation.
"He will be talking about what a great job he's doing on the economy. Has he not been out here? Has he not seen 9.9 percent unemployment in South Carolina?" the GOP front-runner said.
