Mitt and Ann Romney sat down with morning talk show hosts Kelly Ripa and former New York Giants player Michael Strahan to talk personal and politics.
"Okay, the most serious question of all: Honey Boo Boo or Snooki?" Strahan asked the Republican presidential candidate of the reality TV stars on "LIVE! with Kelly and Michael."
"Do you know who either of these are?" asked Ripa, referring to the popular reality TV personalities.
"I'm kind of a Snooki fan," Romney said of the "Jersey Shore" star, who recently gave birth to a baby boy, her first child.
"Look how tiny she's gotten. She's lost weight. She's energetic. Just her spark-plug personality is kind of fun."
The GOP presidential nominee took rapid-fire questions after praising President Obama for being a role model for good parenting and talking about what he enjoys about the campaign trail.
"And I think [the president and I] agree on the importance of family," Romney said.
"I think he’s a fine husband and father and I think the role model for our nation of being a good father is a very good thing. I appreciate that. We’re concerned about schools and healthcare and I think the budget. We go about these things in different ways. We have different approaches to those things."
The interview was tapped last week and aired Tuesday morning.
