"We're Indiana. In times of trouble we stand together. But not Richard Mourdock," the ad's narrator says. "He said, 'I didn't take a pledge that I would support every job in Indiana.' Mourdock tried to stop the Chrysler rescue that saved 100,000 Indiana jobs with a lawsuit, hiring a New York law firm, costing taxpayers over $2 million in fancy meetings, cabs and legal fees. Richard Mourdock worked against us."
The Majority PAC, AFSCME and Center Forward, a group backing centrist Democrats, are behind the $1 million ad reservation, a major buy in the state. Mourdock is locked in a tight Senate race with Rep. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.).
