Pro-Romney super-PAC attacks Obama's 'new normal' in ad

"Welcome to the new normal — where over 8 percent unemployment is 'doing fine' and millions of Americans have simply given up," the ad's narrator says. "Where our children will grow up under the weight of crushing debt in a world where America is no longer the leader, and we're told we're going forward — even as we fall further behind. This is the new normal. This is President Obama's economy. Demand better."
The ad, which goes on the air Thursday for a week, has $1.2 million behind it and is running in Wisconsin, the main swing state the group has focused on. Recent polling shows President Obama up by a comfortable margin in the state, though Mitt Romney's strong debate performance Wednesday night might have shifted the political calculus of the race.
