Crossroads launches $12.6M campaign featuring Clint Eastwood

By Cameron Joseph - 10/24/12 09:23 AM ET

American Crossroads is up with a $12.6 million, seven-state ad blitz, including a spot featuring actor Clint Eastwood.

"Obama's second term will be a rerun of the first and our country just couldn't survive that," Eastwood says in one of the three ads the group is launching. "We need someone who can turn it around fast, and that man is Mitt Romney. There's not much time left — the future of our country is at stake."

The other ads attack Obama on his China policy and the economy.

The China ad slams Obama for deficit spending and accuses him of not standing up to the country when it violates trade agreements.

"The more Obama borrows from China, the more we'll have to bow to China," the ad says as a picture of Obama giving a slight bow to a Chinese leader is shown.

That ad is running in Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio and Virginia.

The other ad, which is running in Colorado, Iowa, Ohio and Virginia, features small-business owners saying, "Obama's policies are the problem." One says she doesn't think her business will "be able to survive four more years" if Obama is reelected.
