Actress Jessica Alba, Star Jones, director Robert Rodriguez, and will.i.am are teaming up for a new series of public service announcements hitting the airwaves this week.
In the clips from the civil and voting rights group Advancement Project, Alba — who added some star power as a fixture at last month’s Democratic National Convention — urges Americans to fight intimidation and vote on Nov. 6.
“We all have an equal voice in the voting booth,” the “Fantastic Four” star says in the 30-second video.
Advancement Project co-director Judith Browne Dianis said in a press release, “Having the voices of these artists encourage participation in our democracy will help combat the fear and confusion we see by efforts that make it harder for people of color, college students, the elderly and the young to vote.”
