President Obama's campaign released a new Web video Friday predicting what the United States might look like after the first 100 days of a Romney administration, forecasting jobs leaving for China, the possible overturn of Roe v. Wade and tax cuts for millionaires at the expense of the middle class.
The video, cut to look like an evening newscast, predicts a variety of dramatic policy changes, including a "Medicare voucher bill" and restrictions on contraception.
"In our top story, President Romney marked today's milestone by signing into law his major tax-cut bill which sharply lowers rates on corporations and the wealthy while millions of retirees, students and veterans could face a tax increase," the faux anchor says.
The "newscast" continues on to tease interviews with Obama voters who regret not having turned out at the polls in pivotal swing states with Iowa.
"That's the 'real change' Romney promises," on-screen text concludes at the conclusion of the two-minute bit. "You decide if he gets to deliver."
The Romney campaign pointed toward a tweet from spokesman Danny Diaz in response to the video.
