Hundreds of young people gathered at the White House on Wednesday night to celebrate President Obama's reelection.
The crowd chanted "four more years!," "Obama!" and "USA!"
Several people climbed the trees in front of the White House and some waived American flags. One group held a sign that read, "Sandy demands climate action now."
The gathering was reminiscent of four years ago, when a crowd spontaneously met at the White House to cheer the election of the first black president. Jubilant crowds also gathered at the White House last year after Obama announced that Navy Seals had killed Osama Bin Laden.
