Sen. Toomey praises Obama idea to meet with Romney

During his election night victory speech, Obama said he planned to sit down with Romney discuss ways of working together in the future.

"I think it'd be terrific if President Obama would speak with Mitt Romney, because Mitt Romney had a lot of very good ideas — constructive ideas that would actually get us on the right path," Toomey said Wednesday. "I'm not sure so sure that that would be an extremely fruitful conversation but it's a good place to start."

Specifically, Obama said that he would sit down with the former Republican presidential nominee and discuss ways the two of them could "work together to move this country forward."
