The New Jersey Democrat repaid the president's support by refusing to say in his interview Thursday what advice he'd offer the president to better corral Congress.
“Before I start pontificating about what the president should do, I’m focused on figuring out the things that Cory Booker can do, that I can do to make a dramatic, definitive difference for folks in New Jersey,” Booker said. “I’m not sitting in the president’s chair. I’m not even sitting in a senator’s chair yet. I’ve got a lot to learn.”
