Cardoza: Mortgage crisis ‘crushing my constituents’

Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-Calif.) blasted President Obama's response to the mortgage crisis Monday, saying the administration had failed to do enough to help Americans save their homes.

“The administration hasn’t done an adequate job dealing with the foreclosure crisis in America," said Cardoza in a prerecorded interview with MSNBC's Tamron Hall.

"It’s crushing the economy; crushing my constituents. Seventy percent of my folks are underwater in their mortgages and 30 percent have already lost their homes,” he said.
