Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), the original sponsor of legislation to repeal the Obama administration’s healthcare reform law, caused a stir Tuesday morning when she addressed a Tea Party rally at the Supreme Court.
As defenders of the legislation tried to speak over her, the former presidential candidate drew cheers from her supporters, vowing to continue fighting for the law's repeal regardless of what the court decides.
"We have not raised the white flag of surrender on socialized medicine," she said. "We are grateful that this day has come. This is one of the most important, consequential decisions that will ever come before this court."
