Pelosi: I'm 'March Mad'

"I have a lot of allegiances to many of those schools. I don't even want anybody to lose. I'm just rooting for everybody, especially the players. I want them all to succeed, whatever team they're on. I'm crazy — I'm March Mad," Pelosi said, when reporters asked who she supported in the March Madness tournament, reported Yahoo News. "I'm addicted to basketball. I mean all sports, but college basketball, very exciting."

The California lawmaker went on to say she is "concerned about what's happening in the Big East." "But that's another story for another day."

Pelosi, "Hoya fan," said she was "disappointed" that Georgetown University didn't win the Big East, losing to Syracuse University.

Florida Gulf Coast University — which was taking part in the NCAA tournament for the first time — beat Georgetown, 78-68, in the first round.

Pelosi is certainly not the only politician getting mad for March. President Obama filled out his brackets in a segment that aired on ESPN last Wednesday. The president chose Indiana to win the men's basketball championship.
