New DNC ad campaign promotes Obama jobs plan

The Democratic National Committee released a new video as part of an ad campaign to promote President Obama's jobs bill.

The DNC announced Monday that the campaign will include T.V. and online ads as well as a new website to help promote Obama's $477 billion American Jobs Act, which the president unveiled roughly a week earlier.

The ad, "14 Months," features clips from President Obama's jobs speech to a joint session of Congress last week.

"The next election is fourteen months away. And the people who sent us here, the people who hired us to work for them," says Obama in the ad, "they don't have the luxury of waiting fourteen months. Some of them are living week to week, paycheck to paycheck."
