Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) gave his view Wednesday of conservatives’ ideology.
They believe, he said, that “society is about allowing the big money interests and the wealthy to have all kinds of power, all kinds of privilege, but if you’re in the middle class or if you’re a working person, forget about it.”
Sanders, who calls himself a democratic socialist, appeared on MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews” discussing “government safety nets."
