Woman slaps Tom Barrett after recall concession speech

The woman was upset about Barrett giving his concession speech while there were still votes to be tallied, according to Milwaukee's 12 News. Facing the woman, who reportedly asked Barrett if she could slap him, he said "I'd rather you hug me." As he leaned down for the hug, the woman slapped him across the face.
Walker avoided being recalled Tuesday, defeating the Milwaukee mayor, who conceded the race shortly after 11 p.m. ET. The defeat dealt a major blow to both Democrats and unions, as well as a sign the state could be in play in the presidential election.
Walker had 54 percent of the vote to Barrett's 46, with 93 percent of precincts reporting.
