NJ governor gets mad on the Jersey Shore

Things got heated while Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) was vacationing with his family on the Jersey Shore Thursday.

The governor, who is known for his short temper, shouted, “You’re a real big shot” at an off-camera individual who was challenging Christie on education. The individual can be heard saying, “Nah, just take care of the teachers.”

Christie has outlined an education reform initiative that focuses on accountability and reduces protections for senior teachers for those he calls “Innovative, Effective and High-Quality.”

“Keep walking away,” Christie can be heard saying while holding an ice cream cone before the protester is escorted away by police. Before the clip ends, Christie is escorted away from the site of the encounter but turns around to inspect the aftermath.

The video, which appears to have been shot with a cellphone, was provided to the celebrity news site TMZ.
