'Live with Kelly and Michael' races pigs to predict Iowa caucus winner

Hillary Clinton and Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) are poised to win the Iowa caucuses, according to the predictions of some racing piglets.

“Live with Kelly and Michael” hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan enlisted the help of two pairs of baby porkers to attempt to determine the outcome of Monday night’s caucuses in the Hawkeye State.

Calling it a “non-partisan race,” Ripa and Strahan placed the two baby pigs on an Astroturf field for the snout-to-snout matchup.

Only the leading two GOP presidential candidates were included in the porcine showdown, Donald Trump and Cruz.

After both piglets got off to a speedy start, the two began to run in circles, before Team Cruz ultimately snorted his (or her) way to a win.

“It’s a political upset!” declared Ripa.

Pigs representing Democratic White House hopefuls Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.) then had their own chance of bringing home the Iowa caucus bacon.

“Hill — don’t get distracted!” Ripa shouted at one of the meandering oinkers.

Ultimately, the pig representing the Democratic presidential front-runner claimed victory, with Ripa exclaiming, “Clinton by a snout!”
