FAA investigating mid-flight 'Harlem Shake' video

The dance was filmed on a flight from Colorado Springs to San Diego by students at Colorado College, according to a report from The Associated Press.

The students were members of the university's Ultimate Frisbee team. They filmed themselves performing the "Harlem Shake" in the aisles of their flight and posted the clip on YouTube, drawing the attention of the FAA.

FAA officials told The Hill on Thursday that they that were reviewing the incident to see if it any in-flight rules were broken.

FAA regulations generally require airline passengers to be seated during take-off and landings, but passengers are allowed to leave their seats when pilots determine they have reached a safe altitude.

Typically, passengers are most likely to leave their seats to use restrooms on board airplanes.
