Obama hits links for second straight day

The press was allowed to follow Obama through the first hole — a rarity for presidential golf outings — and Obama proceeded to three-putt on the green. The president was photographed kicking his leg up in a fruitless attempt to coax his ball into the hole.

Obama will be golfing Monday with civil rights activist and former adviser to President Bill Clinton Vernon Jordan, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, and Chicago developer and lawyer Allison Davis.

Earlier Monday, President Obama was briefed on national security matters by national security adviser Susan Rice at his vacation home.
