Rand Paul defends opposition to ObamaCare on 'The Daily Show'

Paul, who many speculate may make a play for the White House in 2016, traded quips with Oliver over the upcoming election. 

“I am not going to ask you if you are running president, because it's the year 2013, and I don't care,” Oliver riffed.

“And the alarm clock has not gone off yet,” Paul responded.

Just hours after Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the Justice Department will scale back mandatory minimum sentences against many low-level drug crime offenders, Paul also repeated his call for Congress to reform those laws during the interview.
