Obama grabs fried seafood takeout for lunch with Jarrett

The president thanked staff at the snack bar's counter "for feeding us" and took pictures before returning to his car. The presidential motorcade than drove a few minutes to Jarrett's home, where the pair shared lunch.

It's unclear whether Obama and Jarrett are working over their meal, although the White House has said that Obama is receiving daily briefings on domestic and national security issues.

“He will be, of course, regularly updated on the current threat that we’ve discussed," press secretary Jay Carney said. “He’ll be regularly updated on issues going on around the world and the country, but with any luck, he’ll also have some time to relax with his family.”
