Former Sen. Brown rocks out with Cheap Trick

The ex-lawmaker, who lost his reelection bid last year to now-Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), is seen beaming in a YouTube video as he strums a guitar during the jam session of the group’s 1978 hit “Surrender” at a New Hampshire casino.

Donning jeans and a T-shirt bearing an American flag design, Brown sang backup as Cheap Trick lead singer Robin Zander, wearing a glitter ensemble, worked the stage.

Brown, 53, tweeted after his performance Sunday:

But it was quickly back to business the next day for the former Massachusetts senator, who last week ruled out a gubernatorial run in 2014.

Brown tweeted Monday that he was appearing that morning on the Fox Business Network to talk about the “mess in Syria.”
