Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said Thursday that the supercommitte should “go big” and “go bold” in its deficit reduction efforts.
On her website, Murkowsi said the supercommittee should “aim just a little bit higher than even what we laid out in the budget control act.” She sets a target of $4 trillion in deficit reduction.
“We can do that, in fact we must do that,” Murkowski said.
Murkowski won reelection in 2010 as a write-in candidate after losing the Republican primary.
