Dem senator: Obama’s road trip creating more bipartisanship

Sen. Barbra Boxer (D-Calif.) said she has seen an increase in bipartisanship since President Obama took his job-creation message on the road.

“I’ve seen a little more cooperation over here, not enough, but I’ve seen us extend the highway bill for six months, I’ve seen us make a little progress on [the Federal Aviation Administration],” she said on MSNBC.

Boxer called Obama’s plan to change the tax code to require a higher percentage of income from top earners “a no-brainer.”
