Senate leaders bicker on the floor, remember 'good old days'

A fight broke out on the Senate floor between party leaders Thursday over the closed amendment process deployed by the majority on the pending China currency legislation.

Following the morning’s vote, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) ostensibly gave Republicans an opportunity to offer amendments and “give a little speech, a big speech whatever they feel like is important.”
