They’ve already met with each other, Reid confirmed in an interview on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” Wednesday night.

“We had a meeting. It`s all over with,” he said.

Coburn made the comment at an event Monday at the New York Young Republican Club, the New York Daily News reported.

“There’s no comity with Harry Reid,” Coburn said. “I think he’s an absolute a--hole.”

Host Rachel Maddow asked Reid “What’s going on with Tom Coburn?”

“I don’t know,” Reid said. “I’m sure he didn’t mean it.”
