Reid vows to have the last word

Senate leaders Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) quarreled back and forth Thursday morning on the chamber floor over the merits of rival “jobs” plans that will face off in votes later Thursday.

The argument came to a head when Reid threatened McConnell that he would stay on the floor all day until he got the last word in the argument.
