Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) left no wiggle room over
who she wanted to be the Democratic nominee for president in 2016.
Feinstein said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday that she
would “love it” if Secretary of State Hillary Clinton decides to run for
president.
“I am a fan,” Feinstein said. “I would love it if she would
run.”
Clinton appeared in a joint interview with President Obama
on “60 Minutes” that will air Sunday, which sparked new speculation she has an
eye toward 2016.
Feinstein touted Clinton’s accomplishments as secretary of
State and said she has “unbridled popularity.”
