First daughter Ivanka Trump is the head of a fashion brand and a former runway model, but she says there’s a common beauty tool she doesn’t keep in her style arsenal.

“I don’t own a blowdryer — I don’t know how to use it,” Trump, an adviser to her father in the White House, told Harper’s Bazaar in 2015. “Most mornings, I walk to work with my hair wet.”

Trump, who is the administration’s point person on child care policies, is adjusting to life in Washington under an often-searing political spotlight Finding ways to relax amidst the scrutiny is likely key.

Trump practices transcendental meditation and gardens with her three children on weekends.

When she’s not training for half-marathons, she’s found a way to unwind: “Sometimes I like turning on ‘Real Housewives’ and sitting in front of the TV, eating a giant bowl of pasta with a glass of wine,” Trump wrote in her May book.
