Trump: O'Malley's campaign is a waste of time

“Did you see this clown O’Malley?” Trump asked his audience during a speech in Rock Hill, S.C.

He described a campaign event in Iowa last month where only one person showed up to see O’Malley. The sole visitor told the press afterward that he was still undecided on whom to vote for.

The incident happened during a snowstorm in Iowa, on a day where several other presidential candidates cancelled events.

“Why doesn’t he just go home?" Trump asked. "He’s wasting his time.”

Trump added that he could also say the same for some Republican candidates, but he doesn’t want to “hurt anyone’s feelings.”

“People should go home so we can get on with this thing, right?”

O'Malley is a distant third in the race for the Democratic nomination, with 3.8 percent support nationally, according to a RealClearPolitics average of polls.
