MSNBC schedules Biden interview against CNN's Trump town hall

MSNBC has scheduled an interview with Vice President Biden on Thursday at the same time as a CNN town hall featuring Republican presidential candidate Donald TrumpDonald John TrumpAmash responds to 'Send her back' chants at Trump rally: 'This is how history's worst episodes begin' McConnell: Trump 'on to something' with attacks on Dem congresswomen Trump blasts 'corrupt' Puerto Rico's leaders amid political crisis MORE.


MSNBC's Rachel Maddow tweeted about the special edition of "The Rachel Maddow Show" featuring an exclusive interview with the vice president. The interview will be at 8 p.m. — the same time the CNN town hall starts.

Biden will talk about the economy, his "moonshot" cancer project and "news and politics of the day," according to a press release from MSNBC.

In addition to Trump, rivals Jeb Bush and John Kasich will also participate in the CNN town hall Thursday night.
