Trump: ‘I don’t believe anything Telemundo says’

Donald Trump laid into the host from Telemundo at Thursday night’s GOP presidential debate, saying he doesn’t trust the Spanish-language network’s polling numbers.

“First of all, I don’t believe anything Telemundo says,” the billionaire GOP front-runner told Telemundo moderator María Celeste Arrarás.

{mosads}His remark came after Arrarás asked Trump about a new Telemundo poll that says that three out of four Hispanics that vote nationwide have a negative opinion of him.

“They don’t like you,” she said. “Wouldn’t that make you an unelectable candidate in a general election?”

“No,” Trump replied.

After his attack on Telemundo, he repeated his familiar campaign trail refrain that Hispanics love him.

“I currently employ thousands of Hispanics and over the years I’ve employed tens of thousands of Hispanics,” the real estate tycoon said.

“They’re incredible people … they’re incredible workers.”
