The 30-second ad from the Trusted Leadership PAC is called “The Company You Keep.” It shows clips of Trump defending Tyson when the boxer was accused of rape in 1991, which he was later convicted for.

The ad compares the endorsement with the one Cruz received from Indiana Gov. Mike Pence this week.

Cruz’s pick for vice president, Carly Fiorina, also lashed out at the front-runner over the endorsement.

“Sorry, I don't consider a convicted rapist a tough guy,” Fiorina said Friday. “And I think it says a lot about Donald Trump's campaign and his character that he is standing up and cheering for an endorsement by Mike Tyson.”
