Dingell after Fox News appearance: 'Really pathetic!' MORE fired back against new reports about his management style and structure in a series of tweets on Saturday.

After a New York Times story reported that “a constant stream of changes and scuffles are unsettling Donald J. Trump’s campaign team,” pointing to the abrupt firing of one top staffer this week, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee unloaded several tweets at the paper.

“You’re confirming what we wrote. You have a small staff,” New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman responded on Twitter, adding that at least three other outlets approached Trump’s campaign for similar stories.

Another report by The Washington Post, headlined “In campaign chaos, Donald Trump shows his management style,” described “tensions” in how Trump runs his campaign staff.

"Interviews with current and former Trump associates reveal an executive who is fond of promoting rivalries among subordinates, wary of delegating major decisions, scornful of convention and fiercely insistent on a culture of loyalty around him,” the Post wrote.

Earlier this week, Trump said a top aide was "misquoted" in a lengthy interview with The Huffington Post. On Saturday he scorned media interviews with his aides, saying the "only quote that matters is a quote from me."
