A video shows CNN national correspondent Suzanne Malveaux getting ready for a live shot and talking to a producer as Trump was arriving in Indianapolis on Thursday for his announcement about a deal with air conditioner manufacturer Carrier. The producer is discussing signals to the reporter about Trump's arrival.

“If I do this, it means he’s landed,” the producer is heard saying. “That means his plane’s crashed — no, I’m kidding.”

A video shows Malveaux reacting with a stunned face and laughing at the comment.

"An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday," a CNN spokesperson said in a statement, according to a report by Business Insider. "We have apologized to the Trump transition team, and the producer has been disciplined."
