Fox News removes O'Reilly's name from show graphics

Fox News scrubbed references to Bill O’Reilly from his namesake show after it was announced Wednesday that he would not be returning to the network.

The Wednesday 8 p.m. program, long called "The O'Reilly Factor" was dubbed “The Factor” and O’Reilly’s name was removed from on-screen graphics. The show was hosted by Dana Perino in place of O’Reilly.

Perino ended the broadcast with an ode to O’Reilly, calling it “the end of an era.”

“[O’Reilly] is an incredibly talented broadcaster who raised the bar for interviewers everywhere,” Perino said. “We wish him the very best.”

Fox announced Wednesday that O’Reilly would not be returning to the show amid a sexual harassment controversy. He has denied the accusations.
