Tom Perriello one week before the Democratic primary in Virginia's governor's race.

In the footage featured in the ad, Warren argues Perriello is the right candidate for Virginia families.

“He’s a guy with values. He’s somebody who says I am going to make change and I want to make change not for the richest, not for the most powerful. I’m going to make this economy work better for hardworking families. That’s who he is,” said Warren.

Perriello is taking on Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam in the June 13 primary.

He has earned endorsements from other big Democrat Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

Warren endorsed Perriello in April, according to The Washington Post. The remarks in his latest commercial came from an interview she did with the Huffington Post.
