Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann (R) has reached out to the pollster for Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) 2008 presidential bid as she appears poised to make a run for the White House.
Bachmann has been increasingly active in early primary states. She was in New Hampshire over the Memorial Day weekend where she told supporters they would know "very, very soon" if she was mounting a bid. Bachmann said on Thursday that she'll travel Waterloo, Iowa, in June to announce her decision.
Meanwhile, she's beginning to staff up. Bachmann has talked with GOP pollster Ed Goeas about helping her with a potential bid, according to Hotline On Call.
Goeas, of The Tarrance Group, is a top GOP strategist and advised McCain during his 2008 campaign against President Obama.
