Bush calls Trump ‘a jerk’ on campaign trail

"Just one other thing — I gotta get this off my chest — Donald Trump is a jerk," the White House hopeful told supporters, drawing laughter and applause, according to CNN.
The exclamation seemed to come out of nowhere; Bush had been in the middle of discussing his efforts to funnel more money into Florida’s programs for people with disabilities, CNN reported.
"You cannot insult your way to the presidency," Bush said, a line he unleashed at Trump during the last GOP presidential debate in Las Vegas. "You can't disparage women, Hispanics, disabled people. Who is he kidding?"
Bush and Trump engaged in a testy exchange during that debate.
"Donald, you know, is great at the one-liners but he's a chaos candidate and he'd be a chaos president, he would not be the commander in chief we need to keep our country safe," Bush said.
Trump accused Bush of slinging mud to cover up his poor campaign performance.
“Jeb doesn't really believe I'm unhinged," he said. "He said that very simply because he has failed in this campaign; it's been a total disaster. Nobody cares."
Trump called Bush “dumb as a rock” in a series of tweets Friday attacking the former Florida governor:
