CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” on Wednesday night paired its Trump interview with an appearance by O’Brien, who wrote a book on Trump.

During Trump’s interview, he got frustrated when Cooper tried to ask about Quinnipiac University’s poll of three swing states that came out Wednesday, showing his favorability below the rest of the field.

“It's not even a poll. It's in three different states and you are hitting me with this. Frankly, I think it is a very unfair question,” Trump said.

“I am leading across the board and then you hit me with this poll I didn’t see before.”

Trump went on to tell Cooper that “the people don’t trust you and the people don’t trust the media,” estimating that 60 to 70 percent of the political media “is really, really dishonest.”

He added that he had previously been treated fairly and accurately by the financial press before he waded into politics.
