America Rising, the Republican rapid response group, released a new video Tuesday night touting Sanders’s success on the campaign trail and noting that he drew an “eye-popping 70,000 supporters” over a three-day trip out West.

It shows footage of news reports noting Sanders’s crowds on top of a chant from a scene in the Batman film Dark Knight Rises. In an obvious metaphor, the chant is used in scenes where Bruce Wayne and his nemesis surmount near-impossible odds to climb out of an abyss hundreds of feet deep and emerge victorious.

The music during the spot crescendos when the video ends, showing the Twitter hashtag #FeelTheBern. That’s been co-opted by many Sanders supporters to support his long-shot bid for president.

America Rising’s video comes as Sanders continues to hold steady in polling of the Democratic field. While he still lags by more than 30 percentage points in most national polls, he’s narrowed the gap to near single digits in New Hampshire and cut Clinton’s gigantic Iowa lead in half over the past few months.
