RNC selling server ‘wipes’ to mock Clinton

The Republican National Committee has begun selling “secret server wiper” clothes mocking Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton over the escalating fallout from a private email server she used during her time as secretary of State.

“Do you have a secret server you need to wipe clean? Having trouble clearing out those pesky Top Secret emails?” the political committee says in a description of the $5 square of blue cloth.

“Well Hillary’s got just the thing: the Secret Server Wiper.”

{mosads}The politically charged merchandise is the latest dig from Republicans aimed at Clinton, who has grown increasingly feisty over media stories about her unusual email setup while serving as secretary of State.

On Tuesday, Clinton took part in a heated press conference that dwelled on her use of a personal email server that stayed outside of the State Department’s hands.

When asked by a reporter whether or not that server had been wiped, she responded with an apparent joke: “Like with a cloth or something?”

“I don’t know how it works digitally at all,” she added.

Clinton’s campaign pulled the plug on that press conference moments later.

The new RNC directly mocked Clinton’s remarks with its new product.

“Don’t worry about all that ‘digital’ nonsense,” the campaign wrote in the cloth wipe’s description.

“Wipe away your worries with this advanced, state-of-the-art ‘cloth’….’or something’…”

Clinton’s server was handed over to the FBI last week, where investigators are presumed to be attempting to see if the roughly 30,000 deleted emails that Clinton said were personal can be recovered.

On Thursday, a federal judge ordered the State Department to be in contact with the FBI about that server, in case the bureau is able to discover messages related to an ongoing Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.
