An elephant, with "Make America great again" painted on it's side, made an appearance before the rally. 


Trump enters the Florida campaign event as the leader in the GOP presidential nomination race. 


Trump has 27.5 percent support nationally, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson is in second place with 19.8 percent.
