Ohio Gov. John Kasich has won the endorsement of a major newspaper in South Carolina three days before the state's Republican presidential primary.

"Instead, voters should choose Ohio Gov. John Kasich and his actual record of improving federal and state governments," the newspaper's editors wrote.
The newspaper mentioned Kasich's support for accepting expanded Medicaid funding under ObamaCare and praised his efforts in Congress to push for a balanced federal budget.
