Trump roars past Rubio with 39 percent to 21 percent, according to the NBC News/Survey Monkey poll released Friday.

NBC News/Survey Monkey conducted its latest sampling of 6,433 registered voters via online interviews on Feb. 24-25. It has a 1.9 percent margin of error.

The contest in Houston Thursday evening marked Trump’s final confrontation with his four remaining GOP presidential primary rivals before Super Tuesday, the biggest day of the Republican nominating battle so far.

Trump leads the Republican field by roughly 13 percent before ballots are cast next week, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of polls.
