Donald Trump Jr. on Friday commented on Chicago protesters not being able to answer “when asked why they were protesting.” 

“I think they were protesting your racist father. This isn’t complicated,” Legend responded. 

“Here we go again. That can’t be the answer for everything you don’t like. That’s why the country is so divided now!” Trump shot back. 

“No. It’s just the answer when racist racists are saying racist shit and are endorsed by the KKK,” Legend said. 

The Twitter battle comes after the Republican candidate’s Chicago rally was canceled on Friday night after massive protests against Trump.
