The singer, Beau Davidson, stood between Trump and former GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson at an event in Palm Beach, Fla., and inserted Trump's name in the song.

"Donald, Donald stand by me," he sang to Trump. "And we'll stand by you."

"It don't matter where we go. It don't matter what Hillary does," he continued.

"As long as we're with you. Stand by me."

Trump and Carson, who endorsed Trump, swayed to the music as the man sang.
