Poll: Sanders ahead in Wisconsin

Sanders has 48 percent among the state’s likely Democratic voters, while Clinton lags slightly behind with 43 percent.

The numbers align with a Public Policy Polling poll that came out earlier on Thursday, that showed the Vermont senator leading by 6 points. 

Clinton, however, holds a slight lead among women overall, with 47 percent to Sanders’s 44 percent.

Still, among women under 45, Sanders leads 66 to 28 percent.

The poll was conducted from March 28 to 30 and surveyed 860 likely Democratic primary voters. It has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
