Trump to launch fundraising push in California

The push will begin with a fundraiser hosted by investor Thomas Barrack Jr. at his Los Angeles home on May 25, a campaign aide told the Post. 

The event will be the first of what could be as many as 50 events in the state in an attempt to raise as much as $1 billion for Trump's general election campaign.

Trump’s campaign has received a little over $49 million, $35.9 million of it coming from loans from the candidate himself.
